The number one tip for prolonging the life of your waders is to dry them. It is important to dry waders after each use. We recommend drying the inside first and then the outside. When drying the outside, you can raise the stone guards until your feet are dry and then lower them to dry the rest of the waders.

    WASHING
Use a front loading washing machine or hand wash. Use cold water and a normal detergent without bleach. Once you have washed your waders, be sure to dry them properly, starting from the inside. Never put waders in the dryer - the heat will damage the seams and void the warranty.

    FIT
Proper fit goes a long way in extending the life of your waders. When determining your size, use your exact body measurements, as Simms has already provided extra room for wearing multiple layers and moving within the size matrix.

    GENERAL CARE
Do not store waders in your car for long periods of time - excessive heat will damage the waders.

    USE A MAT
Always wear waders using a protective mat to protect the neoprene feet from rocks.

    CORRECT LAYERED CLOTHING
Do not wear jeans under waders. Jeans are highly abrasive and will wear waders from the inside out. Plus, cotton pants like jeans and sweatpants don't wick moisture away from the body. Wearing appropriate layers under your waders will help wick moisture away from your body and allow your waders to breathe.

    STAINS
Most stain removers are effective on our waders. Do not use products that contain bleach.
